So that leaves me with a difficult decision. Incredible gameplay, music and layout. Condition green multiball never gets old and due to the lack of inlanes, its very challenging to achieve jackpots as you cant easily trap a ball on the flippers. Condition wise Id describe it as excellent for its age.
Original Mylar has preserved it superbly. Been stripped and cleaned recently (not by me). In my ownership Ive re rubbered it, and fully led it. And just last week rebuilt the flippers with new plungers, links, sleeves, eos switches and cabinet switches. They are lovely and strong. It has a new Freeplay40 replacement blue ramp fitted. The upper playfield has no damage. It has pop bumper led rings and led flashers. If you suffer from epilepsy you might wanna skip this one. So it has corrosion on the metal parts underneath.
It has a scrape or two on the cab. But honestly it looks great and was in my lounge all summer. It wouldnt be going anywhere if timing was better.I did manage to blow up the aux power board the other week whilst trying to diagnose some locked on flash lamps. But its all fixed now albeit with a couple of jumper wires on the back of it. So has a hack or two. Some evidence of replaced transistors on the mpu in the past.
But you gotta expect that on a game of this age. Display is bright and nice although sometimes theres is a slight wavey flicker on the top right display. Nothing drastic and it improves once its warmed up. The new ramp has a crack at the entrance where someone (maybe me) over tightened one of those little ramp flap screws.
Its mostly hidden under the flap but its there if you look for it. Legs are a little rusty. Will easily clean up with a bit of tinfoil and water though. Just never got round to it. As of now its A1 100% working and one of the nicest space stations Ive ever seen. Id like a nice easy sale. If youre the kind of person who wants a pic of the bulb holder under the left slingshot, were probably not compatible business partners. You know pinball machines, sometimes they break cos they dont like the way you looked at them. So if it isnt working when it arrives with you, thats just the roll of the dice. Sorry for the blurb but had some awkward customers in the past and heard equally bad horror stories off folks on here. Advertised elsewhere so may end without warning. I will provide a proof of life video before it leaves me so if it arrives broken its nowt to do with me!
