Virtual Mini Pinball Machine

Mini Virtual Pinball Machine Running Windows 10 & Steam/FX3. I built this table during the lockdown just for something to do. This has used monitors and PC but new graphics card, button controller, buttons and SSD card. Inside is a decent pair of speakers and an amp with controls accessed at the rear. The cabinet is very solid and heavy.

The graphics are star and planet themed. I created them in Paint Shop Pro and then had them printed on to hard wearing vinyl. There are graphics to both sides and front of the lower cabinet. Also to both sides and top of the backglass monitor shroud.

Both monitors are protected by clear perspex trimmed to conceal any raw edges etc. Visible cabinet edges are fitted with arcade molding. Internal build and wiring is to a high standard. There are no dangling wires.

All terminations are by the correct crimps and connectors - no bits of wire loosely wrapped around terminals! Anything that should be soldered is soldered.. Hanns G 19 Backglass Monitor.

This comes ready to use through Steam running FX3 with 2 free tables. Everything is set to run with proper accounts, Gmail and a registered version of Windows 10. There are backglass images for all the currently available tables.

I would recommend that you use this pinball machine with WiFi (dongle included) and an internet connection but it can be set to work without. Also included is a remote keyboard and mouse.

A second conventional sata drive is also included with a clone of the SSD on it. This can be used to reinstall the image onto the SSD, should a problem arise. This can be the quickest way of sorting out an issue until you are more familiar with the system. There is a lot going on and it only takes one change to prevent operation as expected. Once you have a grasp of what's going on then there should be no issue.

To be clear, it's not about reliability of the machine, just that there is a lot running and everything needs to be in harmony. I won't be in a position to offer support - hence the back up drive.

The machine can be set to run directly into FX3 but I would suggest using the keyboard to exit the game. This is all very clever if all is well but many of these tables have hacked software and can be a bit unpredictable. If you wanted to run something like Visual Pinball with lots of free tables then you would need to add this yourself but be aware that it takes time and you need to have a decent knowledge of Windows and Windows software. The above all sounds very negative, however, I would rather be honest and straight forward. I would not want to sell the machine to a none PC savvy Dad for his 10 year old as they would probably end up disappointed.

Now, having said all that, if you have the knowledge to maintain this then it is a reliable, solid machine with no problems. This has been soak tested for many hours, without issue.
