The Who`s Tommy pinball machine

  

For sale is my Tommy pinball machine dating from January 29th 1994. It is in good working condition with no faults showing with any switches or solenoids.

Display is perfect , no missing pixels/lines or any need to warm up. The mirror mechanism works perfectly, the propellers on the bomber work fine. The blinds also work as can be seen in the photo but it does require a new plastic support arm as the little roller pin has broken off. I have done a temporary repair so please be aware of that. The servo motor itself is perfect. The sliver ball topper comes with the machine but is just sitting in the hole in the backbox. It didn`t come to me with a permanent fixing and it is surprisingly stable.

Flippers have recently been rebuilt with new playfield bushings, coil sleeves, end stops and plunger links so are nice and strong plus i have just ordered two new end of stroke switches for them. Playfield wear is minimal compared to most examples i have seen. Cabinet and backbox look fairly average for the year in my opinion.

Original manual is supplied along with alternative propeller blades for the bomber and a new plastic that fits beside the VUK in the middle of the playfield. There will be work needing doing to it and it really could do with a full playfield strip down and re-rubber to bring out the best in it. You are of course more than welcome to drop by for a few games if practical to try the game out. It really is a very busy game with tons of different modes and there is always something going on.
