Sargent & Greenleaf model 831B Padlock 6 pin Medeco Core High Security with keys

  
Steel balls anti-shim shackle locking mechanism. A high security Medeco 6 pin core, which can be removed using the control key. A boron alloy steel shackle, and has an extra close shackle for added security.

Padlock comes with 2 keys: 1 user key, and 1 modified user key that works as the control key [see picture]. Use of the control key (left turn instead of right turn) and pulling out the side bar [see picture].

6 pin core to be removed fo. R maintenance, replacement, or repinning. S&G 831B padlocks were used extensively by the US military to secure high value assets.
