Bally Pinball Transformer & Rectifier Board with Mounting Bracket. Great Condition and now very hard to find! You will see in the pictures all the correct voltages, both AC & DC are present and working 100%.

E-122-170 AS-3071-15 Transformer (but can be used in nearly all early Bally solid state Pinball Games circa 1977 to 1985 - see notes). AS-2518-151 Rectifier (Games: Gold Ball and Grand Slam). The Transformer is currently wired for UK 240V but can be easily changed to EU 220V OR USA 115V - see schematic pic table showing the options.. In a pinch if you have a project machine missing it's transformer you can just re-wire the Transformer output wires directly to your games rectifier board.

Many of the early models the wires are soldered directly on to the rear of the Rectifier Board anyway. The table below shows you the voltage comparisons between this and other Bally Transformers. The top row is the schematic voltages for nearly all 1977 to 1985 games give or take a volt. Just check your games schematic voltages for yourself.

20V Centre Tapped 10VAC & 10VAC. 10.89VAC & 10.89VAC. As you can see Windings 1,2,3,5 are identical. Winding 4 is the only difference as on the -170 model it has a centre tap for controlled lamps. Bally got clever as time past and they used a centre tap to split the load in to 2 circuits for Controlled Lamps on this Transformer both giving 10.89VAC.

Just a much stronger design. You would just wire one of the Controlled Lamps outputs (purple & purple/black wires - see schematic pic) to your rectifier board to drive your Controlled Lamps on the older Rectifier Boards like the AS-2518-18 or AS-2518-49 or even on the AS-2518-54 (8 Ball Deluxe type) you just need to check/compare the Input connector to the Rectifier Board. (sounds complicated but it's really not).. Heavy box at circa 7.5Kgs so rather expensive to post / courier.
