1988 Williams Cyclone Pinball Machine. Owned machine for approximately 15 years. The original score display was replaced with the PinLED replacement board around 10 years ago.
The cabinet is not the original artwork for this machine (have never managed to identify what the original cabinet is). The playfield is covered in a protective plastic layer so the artwork is generally in great condition (only exception is one sticker on the ferris wheel). The machine has two 25 cent coin mechs but neither are currently connected as the machine is set to freeplay. I have the following spares for the machine.
I have replaced the slingshot plastics and all rubbers in the past, but kept them around as spares. I also have printed copies of the parts and operating manuals. I have checked the machine and it has the following faults.
The left flipper needs a replacement part as the plastic on the end of the rod that goes into the solenoid has perished. A-10656 Plunger and Link for Bally Williams Flipper. Where the ball enters the playfield a plastic bit has broken near the ferris wheel / multiplier lanes - This isn't visible during play as hidden by the comet ramp (broken plastic in photo with old slingshot plastics). The ferris wheel rotates but does not rotate easily when the ball enters - either needs a replacement motor or the rubber band needs replacing. The Comet ramp has been repaired with metal at the entrance and a metal protector has been added to where it connects to the cyclone ramp.
At the end of the cyclone ramp (where it drops to the right flipper) there is a hairline crack - this has always been there and doesnt affect play, but could be sealed with plastic weld. The cabinet has been repaired at one point in its life as the backbox left hand side is supported by a metal bracket. The metal guide rail on the right hand side of the cabinet at the rear could be removed and reapplied as its slightly away from the cabinet. The lockdown bar stainless steel top cover needs to be stuck back to the rest of the lockdown bar - currently just sits on top of it. 2 flasher bulbs need replacing at the rear of the playfield (on the comet scoreboard and blue cyclone ramp flasher). I have also taken some videos and uploaded to youtube so you can get a better idea of the machine. Once the ferris wheel and flipper plunger are replaced this machine is good to go, or you can see to the remaining list of faults provided if you want to improve its overall condition. Please let me know if you require any further information.
