DEMOLITION MAN PINBALL MACHINE I have my beloved Williams Demolition Man (1994) pinball machine for sale in very good condition for its period. This has been my prized possession for many years, and at all times it has been in a smoke free house and environment. Demolition Man is a Williams pinball machine released in February 1994 and designed by game designer Dennis Nordman. The game is based on the motion picture of the same name. It is part of WMS' SuperPin line of widebody games.

Gameplay is centered around 4 multiballs, named Fortress Multiball, Museum Multiball, Wasteland Multiball, and Cryoprison Multiball. Completing all multiballs lights the Demolition Jackpot (the total of all jackpots scored in all mutiballs). The main playfield toy is the Cryo Claw, a mechanical device that captures the ball from a right ramp shot (via a magnet) and is then user-controlled to drop the ball onto one of 5 possible awards: Start AcMag, Lock Freeze, Prison Break, Super Jets and Capture Simon. Completing the 5 awards lights "Demolition Time" a wizard mode starting at 3 balls and with a maximum of 5 balls multiball. Demolition Man runs on Williams' WPC system with DCS sound.

Custom speech was recorded by actors Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes under direction of the game's sound designer Jon Hey. Apart from replacing bulbs, a stand up and tightening rubbers and giving it a clean, one of the circuit boards was replaced. Most annoyingly one of the batteries had leaked onto the board and this had to be replaced simple but expensive. I have the provenance record as proof of this and can sent to anyone interested.

There are a couple of plastics that could be replaced, and easily done for not much cost, but I have to look hard to notice (and certainly been like it since bought the pinball), and absolutely makes no difference to the performance. The cabinet is very good condition and sound is great. It has trigger handles, which are great to use, and standard flipper buttons. The coin operation system is there and set to free play, and for fun we have it set with surprise extra balls and functions and not tournament mode.

I use five balls and I have the operations manual and you can set the pinball to whatever function option you like. Tests are clear apart from the need to check 2 switches. I was assured by my service engineer that these are two targets which are very hard to hit and the pinball is saying just check these. Ive checked where these are located and reckon I very rarely (if at all) get the ball there (one for example is the car chase upper target).

Indeed since I last listed this pinball I still havent managed to hit them. The vertical head which includes the electronic scoring and messaging is too large to fit through a single doorway, and will need to be removed - as no doubt will be required to get into the buyers house also unless have double outside doors.

The pinball guy who did it for me to get into the house took just a short while to complete this by removing and then reconnecting the ribbon electronic connectors and the head which is bolted on. Of course I will also make sure theres plenty of help for the lifting too. Happy to take any questions on this too, and I understand this is not unusual for pinball machines. Whilst I have previously been encouraged to seek more for a fixed price, I feel this is a more reasonable approach to ensure it goes to a good home very soon, at a fair price. See YouTube for lots of examples of this named pinball in play and see the database below for information.
