Gottlieb King Pin Pinball Machine, 1973. I have for sale here my 1973 Gottlieb Wedge Head king Pin Pinball Machine. This is a single player Electro Mechanical pinball machine. Made in 1973 by the premier producer at the time, Gottlieb.

It is based on a popular theme, 10-pin bowling. It was properly refurbished a couple of years ago, by a renowned and well respected pinball engineer. And it plays perfectly and is in very good condition for its age.

The playfield is almost perfect there is only one small area of wear and a slight crack in the wood, right at the top of the playfield. The Backglass has a small amounts of flaking, most noticeable around the score reel windows (see pics). The cabinet is original with original paintwork - its not been messed with, like so many.

It has a set of blue powder coated legs, which really fit in well with the colour theme of the cabinet. The only bad thing is the coin door which is rusty and bent.

All the mechanics and features and electrics work as they should, after extensive work to get this machine working properly. It has original incandescent light bulbs. New rubbers have been fitted, along with a new ball. New pop bumper tops (the old originals are supplied too).

The machine is set to free play, although it also accepts old coins. There is a full schematic, which is vital for a future servicing etc.

Reason for sale, I have new pinball machines on order and I simply need this gone to make some room. The legs come off and so does the header, all easily reconnected, so will transport fairly easily. As with all pinballs though, its heavy!
